Reflecting on the Diverse Needs of Stakeholders
This week, we are focusing on the diverse needs of different stakeholders in the educational process and how, at times, their conflicting needs, goals, and backgrounds can either be potential sources of friction or potential sources of collaboration. In your journal this week, reflect on what stakeholder group(s) you most identify with currently—student, faculty, parent, employer, trainer, trainee, mentor, funder, and others who are affected and invested in the outcome of an educational solution.
What factors influence your identification with that stakeholder group?
