This assessment was designed to allow you to demonstrate your planning, facilitation, presentation, written and oral communication, in addition to your understanding of good communication strategies in the workplace.
Instructions
You are to prepare and do an oral presentation in front of the class –you need to cover the following topics:
1. Describe how you would maintain a good relationships in the workplace with:
a) A work colleague
b) A member of the local media
2. Describe how you would effectively mentor someone in the workplace.
The presentation needs to be at least ten minutes, no less than that.
The presentation will be recorded and is to be conducted in class time. There needs to be at least three audience members (i.e. 2 students and the trainer) viewing your presentation.
Your training notes and power-points need to be submitted as part of your assessment.
