Essays should engage the issues discussed during the course of the quarter in relation to a film (or films) analyzed in class. First and foremost this means analyzing the sound-image relationsat workwithin a film in relation to specificsound design approaches and techniques. You should draw upon the conceptual terminology that we have been using all quarter to discuss sound in film.Other films may also be discussed with the professor’s permission.
